Compensation valuation involves the assessment of clinical and administrative compensation for physicians, advanced practice professionals and healthcare executives.
Physician Compensation
Physician compensation may be productivity-based or based on the managed lives attributed. Increasingly, quality and performance metrics beyond work relative value units are used in compensation design.
Advanced Practice Professionals (APP)
Advanced practice professionals may be supervised by physicians or render their own services. An understanding of the operating environment and level of physician involvement is critical.
Executive and Administrative
Healthcare executives and physician administrators are paid for their management and administrative duties in a variety of settings. Administrative compensation arrangements are also subject to fair market value assessment.
Management Services Agreements (MSA)
Management specific agreements generally accompany MSO or service-line arrangements. Careful consideration must be made of the services provided and assets covered under the MSA.
